Insurance Valuations

Young’s Auctions understands that clients need up to date insurance values to ensure that their items are either fully protected by their policy or, on the other hand, not over insured. Some insurance companies require valuations for items over a certain value, and an up to date and detailed report is invaluable should you need to make a claim for loss or damage to your items. Our experienced team would be pleased to provide you with a detailed valuation report for this purpose. This form of valuation differs greatly from auction appraisal or probate valuation.

Our standard charges are very competitive, and are as follows:

A single item brought in to our Farnham saleroom is £60 + VAT.

Two items brought in to our Farnham saleroom is £100 + VAT.

Further items will be charged at a rate of £175 +VAT per hour.

Should a home visit be required, our charges are as follows:

£175 per hour + VAT, with a minimum charge of £175 + VAT.
