JAMES SKERRETT (B.1954), PAIR OF BONE CHINA PLATES ONE PAINTED WITH PEACHES AND GRAPES AND TWO GOOSEBERRIES (DIA. 22.2 CM) AND THE OTHER PAINTED WITH A PEAR, APPLE, GRAPES, AND A BLACKBERRY (D. 22.4 CM); PLATE WITH TWO APPLES, BLACKBERRIES, AND A GOOSEBERRY
(DIA. 20.5 CM), SMALLER PLATE (DIA. 15.5 CM), AND A SIMILAR BOWL (H. 8.2 CM). JAMES SKERRETT WAS APPRENTICED TO ROYAL WORCESTER AND WAS RANKED AS ONE OF THE FINEST CERAMIC ARTISTS OF THE POST 1970'S ERA. HE RESIGNED FROM ROYAL WORCESTER IN 1989 AND THEN WORKED FROM HIS STUDIO.
