A folio of original art work mostly for the film ‘ Where’s Jack’ starring Tommy Steele and Stanley Baker, together with a montage of 6 original fashion, costume and graphic art designs and an original painting of Marcel Marceau, unsigned.Provenance: the estate of the late Gloria Gross. Born in South Africa in 1944 Gloria was a fashion designer, book illustrator, graphic artist. In 1965 she left South Africa and arrived in London and became part of the Swinging Sixties. Her design work in the UK, Europe and Japan built her reputation. In the early 1970’s Gloria was designing clothing for men, notably Tom Jones, Sean Connery and Stanley Baker. Later in her career she moved into commercial design and childrens' book illustration..

The Beatles, signed B.O.A.C. Rolls-Royce 707 Jetliner postcard, signatures of Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Lennon and Jimmy Nicol (Ringo Starr was ill and missed this tour). In 1964 B.O.A.C 707 First Officer John Goodwin flew them via refuelling in Zurich all the way to Beirut he recalls ‘ they spent their time together in the lounge at the front of the plane, smoking, resting and talking. I went out to sit with them for a little while and chatted….they were very nice lads, very unassuming and relaxed, especially John’. A Lebanese newspaper cutting photograph showing The Beatles with First Officer John Goodwin accompanies the postcard.
