Description:
An extensive collection of ephemera relating to fashion design to include black and white fashion photographs contained in plastic sleeves, newspaper cuttings, printed advertising designs, 1 Volume International Trends 71/72, published Bayer, 1 volume Menko business, original drawings to include John & Yoko, contained in two folios and loose.

Provenance: From the estate of the late Gloria Gross 1944-2018. Born in South Africa Gloria was a fashion designer, book illustrator, graphic artist. In 1965 she left South Africa and arrived in London and became part of the Swinging Sixties. Her design work in the UK, Europe and Japan built her reputation. In the early 1970’s Gloria was designing clothing for men, notably Tom Jones, Sean Connery and Stanley Baker. Later in her career she moved into commercial design and childrens' book illustration. In the 1980's she designed the new Wrangler logo.
