Description:
An original screenplay script Calhoun Smith by Chad Hall (American photographer), bound, together with a Synopsis by Carlos Pasini, titled ‘The Day They Got to the Moon’, with some hand written amendments to the script, also inscribed ‘What is disco Music?' Dated 3/78, and a quantity of scripted documents by Jerry Bauer to include interviews, conversations with actors/actresses. Provenance: From the estate of the late Gloria Gross. Born in South Africa in 1944 Gloria was a fashion designer, book illustrator, graphic artist. In 1965 she left South Africa and arrived in London and became part of the Swinging Sixties. Her design work in the UK, Europe and Japan built her reputation. In the early 1970’s Gloria was designing clothing for men, notably Tom Jones, Sean Connery and Stanley Baker. Later in her career she moved into commercial design and childrens' book illustration.
